Bootscharter in Tyrrhenian Sea · Lagoon 51 in Salerno — “Lady G” — (2024)

Salerno puts you within reach of Italy's most coveted sailing grounds—the Amalfi Coast, Capri, and the scattered islands of the Tyrrhenian Sea all lie within easy reach. Lady G, a 2024 Lagoon 51, launches from this storied port ready to show you why catamarans have become the preference for groups and families exploring challenging Mediterranean cruising grounds. Six private cabins and four bathrooms mean each of your 12 guests enjoys genuine privacy and routine comfort. The twin hulls create a living space that feels almost villa-like: the saloon and galley run down one side, naturally lit and airy, while the cockpit sprawls across the stern with multiple helm stations and lounging areas. Forward, the trampolines bridge the two hulls and offer a social platform for swimming breaks, sunbathing, and simply watching the water pass beneath you. The foredeck provides safe working space and an anchor platform that feels purposeful and secure. What makes the catamaran geometry matter most at sea is stability—the wide hull separation keeps Lady G nearly level at anchor even in moderate swell, and the shallow 1.3-meter draught opens anchorages that deeper-hulled vessels cannot reach: the quiet coves behind headlands, the sand banks near Positano, the protected bays where you'll find the clearest water. Whether you're drawn to bareboat independence or want the flexibility to change anchorages daily, this layout and draft combination rewrites what a week's charter can accomplish along this coast.
