Bootscharter in Martinique · Lagoon 46 in Martinique / Le Marin — “Hercules (MAR)” — (2023)

Le Marin gives you immediate access to Martinique's south coast and the Grenadines beyond. Hercules (MAR), a 2023 Lagoon 46, is positioned for a week exploring everything from the quiet anchorages around Saintes to the dramatic waters south toward St. Lucia. At nearly 14 meters with a 8.53-meter beam, this catamaran carries 12 guests across four separate cabins, each with its own bathroom. The layout works because there's genuine separation: cabins don't feel cramped, and the main saloon remains a proper social hub rather than a narrow corridor. Living aboard splits naturally between the inner and outer spaces. The saloon has good headroom and windows that let in Caribbean light; the cockpit and forward trampolines offer different anchoring moods—drinks at the helm or quiet reading stretched across the netting. Four bathrooms mean no queuing, which matters when you're a family or a group of friends sharing a week. The shallow 1.3-meter draft opens shallow bays and beaches that deeper monohulls cannot reach; the twin hulls hold you steadily at anchor even when the wind picks up. Two Yanmar engines and a generous fuel capacity give you options: motor through calms or sail when the trade winds arrive. The catamaran design trades the thrill of heeling for room and stability, making it reliable for mixed-ability crews and families with children. You're not rushing anywhere on a bareboat charter. Hercules (MAR) lets you sail at your own pace.
