Bootscharter in Griechenland · Lagoon 450 Fly in Athens / Alimos Marina — “Hydra VIII” — (2016)

Moored in Alimos Marina just outside Athens, Hydra VIII sits ready to unlock the Saronic Gulf and beyond. This 2016 Lagoon 450 Fly catamaran sleeps ten across six cabins, each with air conditioning and en-suite facilities—four bathrooms in total mean no morning queues when you're cruising with family or friends. Life on board revolves around real space. Below deck, the main saloon opens generously between the two hulls, giving natural light and comfortable gathering room. The cockpit extends the living area outdoors, with a dining table perfect for evening meals as the sun sets over distant islands. The raised flybridge adds another perspective entirely, a second helm station and observation deck that makes the most of the Aegean light. Between cabin and entertainment areas, you'll find trampolines strung across the bow and room to relax on the foredeck without feeling cramped. Catamaran hulls change what's possible. Hydra VIII sits steady at anchor without hull roll, letting everyone sleep well even in moderate conditions. The shallow 1.5-meter draft opens anchorages that deep-keeled boats can't reach—sandy bays, rocky coves, and protected corners tucked between islands. From Athens, a week's itinerary might take you to Hydra and Spetses, into the pine-fringed channels of Poros, or eastward toward the Cyclades. The dual Yanmar engines and self-tacking systems keep sailing manageable for bareboat skippers, while the 13.96-meter length gives you genuine comfort rather than compromise.
