Bootscharter in Sporades · Lagoon 42 in Skiathos — “ARION AC, Gen, W.Maker” — (2019)

From Skiathos, ARION AC, Gen, W.Maker places you within reach of the Northern Sporades' most rewarding anchorages—pine-backed bays, white-sand beaches, and villages where the waterfront tavernas still know the fishermen by name. This 2019 Lagoon 42 launches your week with six cabins and four bathrooms split across its twin hulls, giving ten guests genuine privacy and room to spread out. Each cabin finds its own corner; the main saloon sits open and bright between the hulls, flowing naturally into a cockpit wide enough for the whole crew to gather at sunset. Living aboard a catamaran means stability you feel immediately. Two hulls anchor you rock-solid in the open bay while drawing barely 1.2 metres of water—you'll reach beaches and shallow bays where monohulls cannot go. The wide beam creates space where monohulls feel cramped: full headroom below, an uncluttered saloon, and trampolines that stretch across the bow for swimming stops and quiet moments between islands. Families and groups benefit most from this layout; teenagers find their own cabin, couples get privacy, and everyone shares the generous communal spaces. ARION AC, Gen, W.Maker is rigged for bareboat sailing with straightforward systems: furling sails, twin diesels for tight maneuvering, and the kind of reliable handling that lets you focus on choosing tomorrow's anchorage. A week from Skiathos typically takes in Skopelos, Alonissos, and the quieter northern islands, with enough time to linger and explore rather than rush.
