Bootscharter in Spanien · Lagoon 42 in Ibiza / Sant Antoni de Portmany Port — “Mares” — (2018)

Mares sails from Ibiza's Sant Antoni de Portmany, placing you within reach of the Balearic Islands' most secluded bays and anchorages in just hours. As a 2018 Lagoon 42, this six-cabin catamaran carries up to 11 guests comfortably across its twin hulls, a configuration that fundamentally changes how you experience a week at sea. The two-hull design keeps Mares steady whether anchored in shallow coves or holding position in open water, eliminating the roll and pitch of traditional monohulls. The shallow draft lets you tuck into beaches and protected bays that larger vessels cannot reach, opening anchorages from hidden Mediterranean corners to popular island stops. Below deck, four bathrooms and six separate cabins mean no waiting or compromise on privacy—important when ten or eleven people share a cruise. Your living spaces flow naturally: the main saloon serves as your gathering hub for meals and evenings, while the cockpit remains open for steering, dining, and watching sunsets. The trampolines bridging the two bows offer a prime spot for swimming preparation or simply lounging between passages. Forward, the foredeck provides anchor work space and another vantage point across the water. For bareboat chartering, this layout means your group gains genuine living room, sleeping quarters that don't feel cramped, and the stability that makes longer crossings genuinely pleasant rather than taxing.
