Bootscharter in St. Lucia · Lagoon 42 in St. Lucia / Castries / Rodney Bay Marina — “Copernicus (STL)” — (2020)

Copernicus (STL) sits ready at Rodney Bay Marina, perfectly positioned to explore St. Lucia's Pitons and then island-hop down the Windward chain. This 2020 Lagoon 42 gives a bareboat charterer room to breathe—four cabins and four bathrooms mean everyone has their own space, a genuine relief for groups or multi-family crews. Inside, the layout flows from saloon to galley with natural light and ventilation that keeps you cool even in tropical heat. The cockpit connects directly to easy access forward, where the trampolines and foredeck invite morning coffee or sunset watches without feeling cramped. The catamaran's twin hulls do real work here. At anchor in the shallows around Pigeon Island or the anchorages off the Grenadines, you sit nearly level while monohulls heel and roll. That shallow draft opens beaches and protected bays that keeled boats cannot reach, and the beam width creates deck space that feels generous rather than crowded. Four people can move around deck and cabins simultaneously without tripping over each other—essential when you're living aboard for a week or longer. From Castries, a week's itinerary can head south to Bequia and Canouan, or north toward Dominica and Guadeloupe, depending on wind and crew preference. The combination of stability, draft advantage, and accommodation count makes this boat equally suited to families wanting comfort, groups sharing costs, or sailors who simply value room and a platform that stays settled.
