Bootscharter in Italien · Lagoon 42 in Sicily / Castellammare del Golfo / Porto di Castellammare del Golfo — “Sirius - Comfort Line” — (2023)

Castellammare del Golfo's sheltered harbor on Sicily's northern coast puts you within easy reach of the Aeolian Islands, Mondello Peninsula, and the Tyrrhenian Sea's hidden anchorages. From this strategic base, a week of bareboat sailing opens up the quieter bays and shallow waters where larger monohulls cannot venture. Sirius - Comfort Line, a 2023 Lagoon 42, is built for exactly this kind of exploration. At 12.94 meters with a catamaran's shallow draft, she slides into beaches and protected coves without compromise, while her twin hulls provide the stability that turns long, lazy anchorages into genuine rest. Living aboard feels spacious because the beam is real—four cabins and four bathrooms mean no negotiation over privacy or facilities among your group of twelve. The saloon sits between the two hulls, light-filled and open to the expansive cockpit, creating a natural flow for both entertaining and everyday cruising. Forward, the wide trampolines and foredeck offer the kind of comfortable perch where crews actually gather, with sightlines that reward those who venture up front. Whether you're an experienced bareboat sailor or stepping up to a larger vessel for the first time, the twin-hull design rewards you with predictable handling and forgiveness at anchor. You can focus on the water, the islands, and the rhythm of your week rather than managing heel or searching for deeper anchorages.
