Bootscharter in Griechenland · Lagoon 42 in Kos / Marina Kos — “Melissanthi” — (2019)

Melissanthi sits ready at Marina Kos, offering ten guests a full week's reach into Greece's quietest anchorages. This 2019 Lagoon 42 trades length for beam—broad twin hulls mean you'll swing freely in shallow bays where monohulls can't follow, and stay rock-steady without a keel in anything the Aegean sends. Six cabins and five bathrooms let couples and families spread out. Each hull holds cabins that feel like proper bedrooms rather than cupboards, and the split layout means morning routine never becomes a queue. The saloon runs the bridge between hulls, a light-filled social space with galley and dining table in view of forward window light. Outside, the continuous trampoline deck wraps both sides—that's where people actually spend their days, lounging between swims, reading in moving air, watching the Dodecanese unfold. The aft cockpit has helm station and shade, the foredeck offers another lounging platform with views straight ahead. No one's fighting for deck space. From Kos, you motor or sail south into islands that get progressively quieter: Nisyros for its volcanic interior, Tilos for its empty beaches, Symi for its harbor cliffs. Northward, Patmos and Leros offer monastery walks and genuine village tavernas. The two-hull design handles 10 people better than any single-hulled vessel of similar size, turning a group charter into something that actually works.
