Bootscharter in Seychellen · Lagoon 42 in Eden Island / Mahe, Victoria / Eden Island Marina — (2023)

Based at Eden Island Marina in the Seychelles, Victoria sits ready to unlock a week of island-hopping through some of the Indian Ocean's most rewarding waters. This 2023 Lagoon 42 combines the dual-hull advantages that matter most for tropical cruising: stability when anchored off white-sand beaches, and the shallow draft needed to reach sheltered bays where monohulls simply cannot go. Living aboard Victoria for a week reveals why families and groups favour catamarans. Four cabins sleep ten guests, each with its own ensuite bathroom—a luxury that turns a bareboat charter into genuine relaxation rather than compromise. The saloon flows into the galley, providing a central gathering space without feeling cramped, while the open cockpit lets you watch the horizon while meals are being prepared. The trampolines stretching between the two hulls offer the ideal spot to drift with a book, and the foredeck becomes a natural gathering point at sunset. From Eden Island, you have immediate access to the granite islands scattered across the Seychelles, from the dive sites around Mahé and Praslin to the quieter anchorages around La Digue. Victoria's reliable engines mean no wasted time waiting for wind, and her beamy design keeps the boat level and comfortable even when the swell picks up. Whether you're sailing bareboat with local knowledge or discovering the islands at your own pace, this catamaran gives you the freedom, space, and seaworthiness to explore properly.
