Bootscharter in Italien · Lagoon 42 in Sardinia / Portisco / Cala dei Sardi — “Copernicus II” — (2024)

Portisco's position on Sardinia's northeast coast puts Copernicus II within reach of the Maddalena islands, the Corsican coastline, and the rocky inlets that define this corner of the Mediterranean. As a 2024 Lagoon 42, this catamaran brings the stability and shallow draft that transforms those nearby bays and beaches from places you read about into places where you anchor and swim. Four cabins and four bathrooms mean everyone in your group of up to 12 has genuine privacy. The hulls sit far enough apart to create a sprawling deck—the trampolines strung between them, the foredeck open for sunbathing or morning coffee, the cockpit a natural gathering point sheltered from wind. Inside, the saloon bridges both hulls, giving you a bright, naturally ventilated space where the whole group can eat together or spread out separately. The cabin layouts work around the catamaran's twin-hull geometry, making efficient use of space without the cramped feeling of a monohull. Two hulls mean you sit level at anchor instead of heeling, which matters when you're relaxed after a long day at sea. They let you draft shallow enough to explore where single-hulled boats cannot go. And they give you the beam—the width—that turns a bareboat charter into something more spacious and livable than a conventional sailboat the same length. A week from Portisco opens up everything from day sails to remote anchorages, all while keeping your floating base comfortable and stable underfoot.
