Bootscharter in St. Vincent und die Grenadinen · Lagoon 42 in St. Vincent / St Vincent / Blue Lagoon — “Ulysses” — (2019)

Ulysses sits on the doorstep of the Grenadines, moored at the Blue Lagoon base on St. Vincent—a location that opens direct access to some of the Caribbean's most rewarding cruising grounds. As a Lagoon 42 catamaran, she offers the practical advantages that make bareboat sailing feel genuinely achievable for groups and families. Four cabins and four full bathrooms mean no queuing at dawn, and the galley sits at the heart of social life rather than hidden away below decks. The twin-hull design does two things worth understanding before you commit to a week. First, Ulysses holds position at anchor without the roll and movement that makes cabins feel cramped—important when a night at sea is part of your holiday. Second, her shallow 1.2m draught opens up the turquoise bays and beach anchorages that deeper vessels cannot reach. In the Grenadines, that means anchoring off Tobago Cays' reef or picking spots near the islands that remain quiet and clear. On deck, the catamaran spreads both security and space. Twin trampolines forward give you a place to watch the sailing or simply sit between islands. The cockpit offers shelter and sight lines without crowds. Below, the salon runs the full beam of the boat, a genuinely comfortable place to gather when the weather turns. Ulysses combines the freedom to reach shallow anchorages with enough room that eight guests do not feel pressed against each other—the foundation of a good week.
