Bootscharter in Griechenland · Lagoon 42 in Athens / Alimos Marina — “LAG IX” — (2020)

Moored in Alimos Marina just south of Athens, LAG IX puts you within hours of the Argo-Saronic islands and the Aegean's most accessible sailing grounds. This 2020 Lagoon 42 sleeps 10 across four separate cabins, each with its own en-suite bathroom, so even a group of friends or multi-generational family avoids the compromises typical of monohull charters. The saloon flows naturally into the cockpit, creating one continuous living space that catches the breeze and anchors social life on deck. Wide trampolines stretch between the hulls, offering sunbathing and lounging room that a single-hull vessel simply cannot match. Two hulls solve real problems for week-long cruising. The twin-hull design keeps LAG IX remarkably stable at anchor, so you sleep level even on lazy rolling swells. The shallow draft—one of the Lagoon 42's defining features—lets you tuck into rocky bays and sandy beaches where deeper monohulls cannot follow, opening anchorages from Poros to Paros that most charter boats miss. The beam gives you standing headroom and storage throughout, and enough deck space that four cabins never feel crowded. From Athens, a bareboat week brings you to whitewashed villages, Michelin-starred tavernas, and small harbours where swimmers outnumber tourists. Set your own rhythm, sail or motor at your pace, and anchor wherever catches your eye. LAG IX is built to cruise comfortably, not just reach destinations.
