Bootscharter in Griechenland · Lagoon 42 in Athens / Alimos Marina — “ANTEL AC,Gen,W.maker” — (2020)

From Alimos Marina near Athens, ANTEL AC,Gen,W.maker puts eleven people within reach of Greece's most rewarding sailing grounds. This 2020 Lagoon 42 spreads guests across six cabins and four bathrooms, removing the usual trade-off between group size and private space that smaller boats force. The main saloon opens to a broad cockpit where the helmsman sits among the crew rather than alone, while the dual hull pushes wide views forward: two trampolines stretched between the bows invite sunbathing and morning coffee with miles of horizon. The catamaran's architecture makes a measurable difference once you drop anchor. Two hulls mean the boat sits stable without needing to drift with the wind, crucial when anchoring off Delos or Mykonos. The shallow 1.25-meter draft opens anchorages that deeper boats cannot approach—sandy bays near Naxos, the tight coves of Antiparos, beaches where you wade ashore. Interior volume comes from that wide beam; cabins don't feel like tubes, and the galley has counter space for real cooking when the charter house isn't calling. A bareboat week from Athens works in multiple directions. North takes you through the Northern Sporades toward Mount Pelion. South reaches the Cyclades proper, from Kea through Ios. The pair of 27 HP Yanmar engines burn fuel efficiently, and with 400 liters aboard, you cruise without daily calculations. Ten to twelve knots lets you make real distance while keeping each day unhurried enough to explore.
