Bootscharter in Türkei · Lagoon 42 in Marmaris / Albatros Marina — “Kairos” — (2022)

Kairos sits ready at Albatros Marina in Marmaris, a gateway to Turkey's most rewarding cruising grounds. This 2022 Lagoon 42 gives eight guests full run of four separate cabins, each with its own ensuite bathroom, so nobody queues for the shower after a long day on deck. The saloon is bright and open, flowing seamlessly to the cockpit where the helm sits high enough to see over the trampolines forward—those wide nets are made for sprawling in the sun or letting children play safely off the water. What makes a catamaran matter here becomes obvious the moment you anchor. The two hulls sit Kairos steadily, no swinging or heeling, even when the Aegean wind picks up. Shallow draft means you reach the sand bars and hidden bays that monohulls simply cannot touch, opening up anchorages from Ölüdeniz to the Greek islands where the water runs clear and few others venture. Four bathrooms mean no conflicts; four cabins mean families travel separately without cramping. A week from Marmaris unfolds from the Lycian coast's rugged coves northward, or across to Rhodes and the Dodecanese. The foredeck gives you space to work with sails or just to sit forward with the breeze and a book. Twin engines and good sail plan mean you choose whether to motor through calm days or catch the thermal winds that build each afternoon. Kairos handles both with ease, and her size keeps you comfortable whatever the conditions bring.
