Bootscharter in Sporades · Lagoon 400 S2 in Skiathos — “Orion VIII” — (2017)

Skiathos sits at the gateway to the Sporades, placing Orion VIII within easy reach of pine-clad anchorages, sheltered bays, and island communities still genuine despite their appeal. A 12-meter Lagoon 400 S2 built in 2017, this catamaran carries up to 12 guests across six cabins with four bathrooms, making her suited to families and groups seeking shared adventure without crowding. Twin hulls define the cruising experience aboard. The dual-hull design keeps Orion VIII stable at anchor even when winds shift, a practical advantage when you spend weeks exploring Greece's shallow-water zones. That same shallow draft opens access to coves and beaches unreachable by monohulls, letting you anchor closer to villages or find sheltered holding in tight anchorages. Below deck, the catamaran's interior spreads across both hulls—cabins feel private and roomy rather than compressed. The saloon and cockpit benefit from the width between hulls too, giving guests genuine space to gather, cook, and relax without the constant sense of proximity. Trampolines stretched between the bows become an open-air living room, and the foredeck provides lounging room for sunbathing or morning coffee. Bareboat means you're free to set your own schedule and priorities. Head south to quieter islands, north to wilder anchorages, or anchor off a beach and stay put. The Lagoon 400 S2 handles coastal sailing confidently, and the catamaran's design cuts through typical Aegean conditions predictably. Orion VIII offers genuine comfort at anchor and genuine freedom on the water.
