Bootscharter in Liguria / Toscana · Lagoon 400 S2 in Punta Ala — “Auster” — (2016)

Punta Ala's position on the Tuscan coast puts you within reach of the Tuscan Archipelago's best anchorages from day one. Auster, a 2016 Lagoon 400 S2, sits ready to carry your group of up to 12 guests across these familiar waters. The catamaran layout works hard for shared holidays: four en-suite cabins keep everyone with their own private space, while the bathroom arrangement—one for each cabin—removes morning compromises. The saloon spans both hulls, offering a natural gathering point for meals and conversation, and the cockpit provides a second social hub where you can watch the sunset or keep an eye on the anchorage. What makes twin hulls matter here becomes clear on your first anchoring. The beam between them creates genuine stability—no rolling at rest, which matters over a week when you're tired or when young sailors are aboard. The shallow draft opens doors that monohulls cannot reach: island bays, beaches tucked behind sandbars, and quieter anchorages where you'll see fewer other boats. On deck, the trampolines connecting the hulls give everyone a sun terrace forward, while the foredeck layout makes sail handling straightforward for a bareboat crew. From Punta Ala you can explore Elba, Giglio and Giannutri, navigate into quieter corners of the Tyrrhenian coast, or point toward Corsica and beyond. The space—12 berths, four cabins, four heads—means families or friends don't crowd each other. Auster is built to make a week of sailing feel more like freedom than compromise.
