Bootscharter in Griechenland · Lagoon 400 in Athens / Alimos Marina — “Aurora” — (2011)

From Alimos Marina, Aurora reaches the Saronic Islands in an afternoon and opens the entire Cycladic arc to a week of bareboat cruising. This 2011 Lagoon 400 gives ten guests the freedom to drift between beaches, anchor in working harbors, and sleep soundly while exploring Greece's island maze. The twin hulls do the real work here. They sit shallow enough for the sandy bays where ferries won't go, hold steady when anchored overnight, and create a wide platform that absorbs the Aegean's chop without the lean and motion of a monohull. Six private cabins and four bathrooms mean families and friend groups don't collide over morning showers. The saloon runs the length of the boat's center, flooded with light from windows on both sides, while the cockpit stretches across the stern with unobstructed views and room to lounge between passages. Out on the trampolines and foredeck, there's genuine space to spread out. The bows don't pinch like a single-hull design; instead they splay wide, giving crew and guests room to move safely and guests room to sunbathe while someone else takes the helm. Bareboat chartering from Athens means you navigate your own schedule, choose which villages matter to you, and anchor where the moment fits. Aurora's layout and reputation within the Lagoon line make this possible even for groups mixing experience levels.
