Bootscharter in Griechenland · Lagoon 40 in Volos / Port of Volos — “Nina (A/C, Gen 10KWA, watermaker, electric winch)” — (2021)

From the northern Greek port of Volos, the Lagoon 40 Nina (A/C, Gen 10KWA, watermaker, electric winch) gives groups and families a platform for exploring the Sporades and beyond with comfort and peace of mind. Six cabins sleep twelve guests across four bathrooms, letting crews of friends or multi-generational parties spread out without compromise. The saloon flows into a protected cockpit where steering and dining merge, while generous trampolines stretch forward and the foredeck offers lounging space that transforms how time feels at anchor. Twin hulls give Nina stability that single-hull boats cannot match. At rest in a bay, she sits level and motion-free, a genuine floating base rather than a rocking platform. The shallow draft opens access to sandy coves and protected anchorages most monohulls cannot reach, and the wide beam between the hulls creates interior space without the weight or complexity of larger designs. Moving underway, the catamaran's breadth keeps her steady in chop and reduces the fatigue of long passages. Volos sits at the gateway to the Aegean's most sheltered waters. A week's cruising can unfold through pine-backed islands, across to Skiathos and its string of protected beaches, or southward where the Pelion Peninsula rises steeply from the sea. With a watermaker and generator aboard, Nina supports extended time away from the bustle. The electric winch handles ground tackle and sails without strain, letting the crew focus on the crossing, the anchorage, or simply the view.
