Bootscharter in Italien · Lagoon 40 in Sicily / Furnari / Marina Portorosa — “Nereo - Standard line” — (2020)

From Marina Portorosa, Nereo - Standard line puts you within reach of Sicily's most compelling anchorages. The Aeolian Islands sit just offshore, while the Tyrrhenian coast opens east and west—all accessible thanks to the Lagoon 40's shallow 1.2-meter draft. You'll slip into bays and beaches where deeper-hulled monohulls cannot follow, anchoring in clear water a stone's throw from white sand and hidden coves. Living aboard this 12-berth catamaran means four private cabins, each with its own bathroom, so crew or families maintain comfort without compromise. The saloon spans the bridge deck between the two hulls, giving you a bright, airy social space that flows toward the galley. On deck, the twin hulls create wide side platforms perfect for swimming or lounging, while the trampolines and expansive foredeck offer room to sprawl, dry sails, or simply watch the horizon. The cockpit sits high and protected, commanding clear views while you navigate or dine underway. Those two hulls deliver the stability you feel the moment you step aboard. At anchor, there's minimal roll even in moderate swell—a comfort when you're cooking, sleeping, or simply want steady ground beneath your feet. The wide beam means generous cabin headroom and cabin width that feels open rather than confined. For a week's bareboat charter from this Sicilian base, Nereo - Standard line gives you the platform to explore independently, the comfort to stay out longer, and the shallow access that transforms a sailing holiday into something genuinely different.
