Bootscharter in Athens / Saronic Gulf · Lagoon 40 in Lavrion Main Port — “Sunflower” — (2024)

From Kos Marina, Sunflower opens the Dodecanese to groups and families seeking both comfort and sailing freedom. This 2024 Lagoon 40 catamaran holds twelve guests across six cabins with five bathrooms, so whether you're chartering with extended family or friends, everyone has their own sleeping quarters and ready access to facilities. The twin-hull design gives you what monohulls cannot: a shallow draft that lets you anchor close to beaches and in protected bays where larger boats cannot reach, plus the rock-solid stability that makes Sunflower safe and predictable even in moderate seas. Living aboard means spreading out across two hulls. The saloon spans the bridge deck between them, offering panoramic views and a social hub for meals and evening gatherings. The cockpit gives you weather protection and space to work the sails or simply lounge underway. Forward, the wide trampolines invite you to sunbathe, read, or watch the bow cut through clear Aegean water. Each cabin is thoughtfully laid out with its own character, and the five bathrooms eliminate morning queues. The foredeck provides secure space for handling anchor work and enjoying the scenery as you approach anchorages. Based in one of Greece's best-positioned sailing hubs, Sunflower puts the Dodecanese islands within a week's reach: Rhodes, Symi, Tilos, Nisyros, and the quieter coves between them. Light winds here suit bareboat charters, while protected waters let you build confidence and enjoy the sailing rather than fight conditions.
