Bootscharter in Italien · Lagoon 40 in Sardinia / Portisco / Cala dei Sardi — “Aquila (WM, Inverter)” — (2021)

Portisco's sheltered anchorage makes it an ideal launching point for exploring Sardinia's northeast coast, and Aquila (WM, Inverter) is built to make the most of it. This 2021 Lagoon 40 catamaran sits low in the water thanks to its shallow draft, allowing you to nose into the small bays and sandy beaches that larger monohulls cannot reach. The twin hulls provide exceptional stability once anchored, so families and groups can relax on deck or in the saloon without the constant motion that single-hull boats bring. Down below, Aquila sleeps 10 guests across four cabins, each with its own ensuite bathroom—a rare comfort on a 40-footer. The main saloon and galley flow together naturally, creating space to gather and cook without feeling cramped, while the bridgedeck galley gives quick access to the cockpit for those who prefer to stay connected to the water. Overhead, the wide trampolines between the hulls offer prime lounging and sunbathing territory, and the foredeck provides an open perch for morning coffee or evening aperitivos. From Portisco, you can reach the Maddalena Islands in an afternoon sail, explore the granite coves of Tavolara, or work your way south toward the Emerald Coast. The inverter system means you can run modest electrical loads at anchor without the engine, while the responsive sails and efficient engines handle the full range from calm anchorages to moderate coastal passages. Bareboat charters suit confident sailors looking for independence and flexibility in their week away.
