Bootscharter in Liguria / Toscana · Lagoon 40 in Bocca di Magra — “Agora'” — (2019)

Moored in Bocca di Magra, Agora' sits ready to launch ten guests into a week exploring Liguria's best anchorages, from the dramatic cliffs of Cinque Terre to the sheltered bays dotting the Gulf of Poets. The Lagoon 40's twin hulls are built for this coastline: that wide, stable platform keeps the boat steady at anchor even when the swell rolls in, and a draft of just 1.2 meters lets you nose into coves and approach small ports that monohulls simply cannot reach. Living aboard works effortlessly with four separate cabins, each with its own bathroom—no queuing for showers on a bareboat charter with this layout. The saloon sits at the heart, open and naturally lit, flowing naturally to the cockpit where meals happen and watches rotate. Above, the trampoline netting stretches between the hulls, a spot to lounge and watch the Ligurian coastline slip past, while the foredeck offers genuine living space rather than just a working platform. That beam of 6.5 meters delivers something deeper than comfort: it gives families and friend groups room to breathe. Separating easily into private cabins, then gathering in the generous saloon or cockpit, the boat handles the social dynamics that make group charters work. Two Yanmar engines handle narrow channels and exit strategies, while the rig gives real sailing when you want it. A bareboat week from here puts you between Portovenere's rocky drama and the Cinque Terre's villages—waters you can trust a well-found boat like this to explore thoroughly.
