Bootscharter in Griechenland · Lagoon 39 in Lefkada / D-Marin Marina Lefkas — “U2” — (2014)

Lefkada's sheltered waters and nearby Ionian anchorages make an ideal training ground for U2's particular strengths: stability at anchor, shoal-draft maneuverability, and the kind of deck space that makes eight guests feel at ease rather than crowded. This 2014 Lagoon 39 spreads its beam across two hulls, giving the saloon and cabins room to breathe, and the trampoline netting between the bows becomes a favorite spot for swimming breaks or morning coffee as you drift over pale seabed. Living aboard means four separate cabins—each with private berth space—and two full bathrooms, so the rhythm of daily life doesn't hinge on bathroom queues. The saloon flows between galley and dinette without claustrophobia, and the cockpit sits high enough that helmsman and crew both see what's coming. Forward, the trampolines and foredeck are genuine extensions of the living space, not afterthoughts. Two hulls deliver what a monohull cannot: that shallow 1.1-meter draft lets you anchor in bays and approach beaches unreachable by deeper boats, while the twin-hull footprint keeps U2 solid and level even when the wind picks up or swells roll through. From D-Marin Lefkas, a week's cruising can weave through Meganisi's protected anchorages, probe the edges of smaller islands, and explore small-village harbors without compromise. The catamaran's beam and stability mean you genuinely relax at anchor instead of spending the evening steadying yourself.
