Bootscharter in Kroatien · Saona 47 in Kaštel Gomilica / Marina Kaštela — “HERMES” — (2018)

Marina Kaštela sits at the gateway to Croatia's central Adriatic, putting HERMES within hours of everything—the Dalmatian islands, protected bays, and anchorages deep enough for a group to drop anchor without worry. This 2018 Fountaine Pajot Saona 47 gives you the platform to make the most of it. The twin hulls are what make a catamaran different, and why they matter for charter sailing. That wide beam spreads your living space across two cabins forward, two aft, and two in the crossover, each with its own bathroom nearby. The saloon and galley sit in the middle, open and flooded with light. On deck, the trampolines stretch between the hulls—they're where you sit to watch the sunset, where children play safely, where crew can move freely. The cockpit is your command center, steering and sail controls within arm's reach. Stability at anchor means no rolling through the night. The shallow 1.35-meter draft opens shallow bays and beaches you cannot reach in a monohull. A week from Kaštela opens the Dalmatian coast in any direction. Head south toward Vis or Hvar, north toward Brač and Solta, or east into the protected waters between islands. Twelve guests spread across six cabins means families can sail together without crowding. The catamaran's efficiency and range let you sail where the mood takes you, rather than where logistics force you to go.
