Bootscharter in Kroatien · Lucia 40 in Pula / Marina Polesana — “Go Earth 1” — (2018)

Pula's position at Croatia's southwestern tip makes Go Earth 1 an ideal launchpad for exploring the Adriatic's most sheltered waters. This 2018 Fountaine Pajot Lucia 40 sits at Marina Polesana with the Istrian Peninsula and Brioni Islands within easy reach, while deeper cruising south takes you toward the Dalmatian coast and beyond. Living aboard this 40-footer means four private cabins and four bathrooms—more than enough for families or groups of ten. Each cabin feels generous; the master suite occupies prime real estate in the forward section. The saloon is your social hub, with a galley integrated into the open plan and big windows framing whatever anchorage you choose. Stepping outside, the trampoline stretches across the bows as an open-air lounge, while the aft cockpit provides shelter and 360-degree views. The connection between inside and outside spaces is seamless and uncluttered. Twin hulls deliver the practical benefits that matter day after day at sea. Anchoring is stable and reassuring, with minimal swing even in wind. The shallow draft—a key Lucia trait—opens narrow channels and sandy bays that monohulls cannot reach, letting you pull close to beaches and explore smaller islands. For groups, the catamaran's width creates genuine separation between cabins and gathering spaces, so privacy and conviviality coexist easily. From Pula, a week of bareboat cruising rewards both confident sailors and those learning the Adriatic's rhythms.
