Bootscharter in Italien · Lucia 40 in San Pietro / Carloforte — “LIPARA” — (2018)

From Carloforte's intimate harbor, LIPARA reaches Corsica's granite cliffs, Sardinia's white-sand beaches, and the Aeolian Islands within easy sailing distance. This 2018 Fountaine Pajot Lucia 40 has been engineered to make that freedom accessible: her twin hulls sit shallow enough to anchor in lagoons other boats cannot enter, wide enough to hold eight people without feeling crowded, and stable enough that movement on deck and below never feels rushed or uneasy. Four separate cabins and four full bathrooms mean families and groups spend their time together rather than negotiating access to shared facilities. The saloon runs the full width of the 7.84-meter beam, creating genuine living space rather than a passage. Broad cockpit seats work for lounging between sailing, while the trampolines stretched between the bows give children and adults alike a place to sprawl and watch the water pass beneath. The foredeck offers room to move during sail handling—important when you're bareboat sailing without a crew. LIPARA's shallow draft transforms week-long itineraries. You can set anchor where monohulls can only sail past, then step ashore onto untouched sand or climb into a clifftop village without tenders or dinghies. Paired with reliable diesel engines for calm afternoons and straightforward sail configuration, she puts choice back into your hands. From San Pietro, the Tyrrhenian Sea opens in every direction.
