Bootscharter in Italien · Helia 44 in Sardinia / Portisco / Cala dei Sardi — “Pixie Dixie” — (2014)

Sardinia's northeastern coast offers some of the Mediterranean's clearest water and most sheltered anchorages, and Pixie Dixie puts you right at the heart of them. Moored in Portisco, this 2014 Fountaine Pajot Helia 44 gives groups and families the space to spread out across four separate cabins and four bathrooms—enough privacy so nobody feels cramped after a week together. Below deck, the saloon connects naturally to the galley, while topside the cockpit and trampolines across the bow become your living room, dining room, and observation platform all in one. The twin-hulled design makes a real difference in how this boat behaves. At anchor, she sits flat and stable even when the wind picks up, so you can sleep soundly and move around confidently. Shallow draft opens access to bays and beaches a monohull can't reach, meaning you're not always hunting for deeper water or competing with other boats for the same anchorages. With 12 berths, Pixie Dixie works equally well as a shared adventure for a group of friends or a multi-cabin retreat for two or three families. From Portisco, your week unfolds across some of Sardinia's finest sailing ground: the granite islands of the Maddalena Archipelago to the north, the dramatic coastline toward Cala Gonone to the south, and dozens of smaller anchorages in between. The generous deck spaces mean you can enjoy every kind of sailing moment, from evening aperitifs under the stars to lazy afternoons anchored in crystal water.
