Bootscharter in Gulf of Taranto · Elba 45 in Taranto — “MyDream” — (2024)

From Taranto's historic waterfront, MyDream opens up the full sweep of Italy's Adriatic and Ionian coastlines—from the heel of the boot down through waters studded with islands, anchorages, and small ports that larger monohulls simply cannot reach. The Fountaine Pajot Elba 45's shallow draft means you can tuck into bays and beach anchorages that deeper-keeled yachts must skip, and the twin hulls hold position without dragging when the wind picks up, giving you confidence to drop anchor and relax. Living aboard is genuinely comfortable for a group or two families. Four cabins and four en-suite bathrooms mean no queuing—everyone has their own private space. The saloon runs the full width of the boat's generous 7.45-meter beam, flooded with light and genuinely airy. The cockpit is sheltered and spacious, a real gathering spot for meals and evening drinks. Up forward, the trampolines and foredeck give you room to move around, sunbathe, or simply sit and watch the water slip beneath you. Bareboat chartering MyDream lets you set your own pace. Two diesel engines and modern furling systems make sail handling straightforward, so you steer your own course through a week of steady winds, island hopping, and discovering quiet anchorages on your terms. The boat's stability cuts through any moderate seas smoothly, and the larger tanks mean fewer stops for fuel and water—more time exploring, less time logistics.
