Bootscharter in Italien · Elba 45 in Salerno / Marina d'Arechi — “Krug” — (2025)

Salerno sits at the gateway to the Amalfi Coast and Capri, making Marina d'Arechi an ideal launch point for week-long explorations of southern Italy's most prized anchorages. Krug, a 2025 Fountaine Pajot Elba 45, connects you to those destinations with the stability and shallow draft that only a catamaran's twin hulls provide. At anchor off white-sand beaches or in tight island bays where monohulls struggle, two hulls mean minimal heel and the confidence to anchor comfortably in just 1.5 meters. The layout maximizes what that beam width offers: five cabins and five en-suite bathrooms mean no queue for the shower at dawn. The main saloon sits central between the hulls, flooded with light from three sides, while the cockpit stretches across the stern for open-air dinners. The trampolines forward and flybridge above give groups and families genuine outdoor space—not a crowded afterthought. Cabins range from the full-beam master amidships to cozy aft berths, all finished to modern standards. Eleven guests across Krug means room for multi-family sailing without compromise. The Elba 45's twin Yammer diesel engines push 11 knots comfortably, and the roller-furling main and genoa handle easily for bareboat charterers. A week from Salerno opens the Tyrrhenian Sea: Capri's dramatic cliffs, Ischia's thermal springs, Positano's terraced villages, and countless nameless coves reward those who drift beyond the main tourist routes.
