Bootscharter in Italien · Elba 45 in Sicily / Palermo / La Cala (Porto Palermo) — “Maravigghia” — (2025)

Palermo's position at Sicily's northern coast makes La Cala the ideal launching point for exploring both the Tyrrhenian Sea and the waters toward the Aeolian Islands. Maravigghia, a 2025 Fountaine Pajot Elba 45, sits ready to carry 12 guests through this varied cruising ground with the stability and space that twin hulls bring. The catamaran's shallow draft lets you approach beaches and small bays unreachable for monohull sailors, while the wide platform keeps everyone comfortable at anchor—whether you're settled for a quiet evening or hosting a gathering on deck. Stepping aboard, you'll find six cabins arranged across both hulls, each with its own approach to natural light and ventilation. Five bathrooms mean no morning queues. The saloon spans the bridge deck between the hulls, offering a social hub with sight lines to the cockpit where the helm station sits clear and uncluttered. The trampoline netting strung between the bows becomes a favorite spot for early swimmers and sunset lounging, while the foredeck provides secure space for anchoring gear and those who want to be first to spot coastal landmarks. From La Cala, a week's cruising reaches the fishing villages around Mondello, the anchorages near Ustica, or westward toward Castellammare. The Elba 45 handles this range well under sail or motor, giving bareboat crews real choice in how they spend their time. Whether you're crossing open water or ghosting into a protected cove, the boat's twin-hull design delivers the stability and shallow-water access that make Mediterranean sailing feel unhurried.
