Bootscharter in Kroatien · Astréa 42 in Krk / Punat / Marina Punat — “Flavia Augusta” — (2021)

Moored at Marina Punat on Krk, Flavia Augusta sits ready to carry ten guests across the Adriatic's clearest waters and shallowest anchorages. This 2021 Fountaine Pajot Astréa 42 catamaran splits its living spaces across two hulls, giving you what a single-hull yacht simply cannot: stability that holds firm at anchor, a draft shallow enough for sandy bays and rocky inlets, and cabins and bathrooms spread generously across four separate spaces so no one waits in line. Life aboard centers on the saloon, where natural light floods through oversized windows and the open galley keeps the cook connected to the group. Step outside onto the cockpit and you have helm stations with clear sight lines, plus lounging that invites lingering over morning coffee or sunset drinks. The trampolines stretched between the hulls create a social hub that never gets old, and the foredeck opens opportunities for sun-soaking or casting off with room to move without crowding. Four cabins and four bathrooms mean families or two couples can yacht together without compromise. The catamaran's shallow draft unlocks beaches and bays that monohulls avoid entirely, while the twin-hull design cuts pitching motion and delivers interior volume that feels less cramped after a long day. From Punat, a bareboat week reaches south to Dalmatia's limestone islands, east towards the Istrian peninsula, or north into the Gulf of Kvarner's protected waters—each route offering different sailing character and anchorages suited to slow exploration.
