Bootscharter in Griechenland · Astréa 42 in Athens / Marina Delta Kallithea — “Nancy” — (2020)

From Marina Delta Kallithea in Athens, Nancy sits ready to unlock a week among the Aegean's most rewarding anchorages. This 2020 Fountaine Pajot Astréa 42 sleeps nine across five cabins, with four bathrooms—a practical layout that keeps a group moving smoothly through mornings and evenings. The saloon and cockpit flow together as genuine gathering spaces, while the wide trampolines forward and open foredeck give everyone room to spread out and soak in the views without feeling crowded. Two hulls make the difference here. Nancy's shallow draft of 1.35 meters lets you nose into bays and anchor in beach shallows that exclude monohull boats. Her beam creates the stability you feel at anchor—that solid, unrolling sensation rather than constant swaying. The dual-hull geometry also means cabin and bathroom space that a single hull simply cannot match; you get proper cabins where people sleep well, not narrow coffin berths. The Astréa 42's efficient engines and modern rigging with furling sails mean sailing happens at your pace, whether you're chasing wind toward Naxos or motor-sailing into an anchorage when the Aegean falls flat. Based near Athens puts you close to the wine islands, the quieter Sporades, and the protected waters between the mainland and Evia—a full week of genuine variety. Nancy delivers real comfort for families or groups who want room to breathe and the confidence to anchor anywhere the chart says water is deep enough.
