Bootscharter in Kroatien · Excess 14 in Rogoznica / Marina Frapa — “El Paso 2” — (2024)

Rogoznica offers an ideal stepping point into the central Dalmatian islands, and El Paso 2 puts that opportunity within reach. This 2024 Excess 14 catamaran, based at Marina Frapa, gives you a platform built for both family groups and experienced crews. Four cabins sleep twelve guests, each with its own bathroom—a practical advantage when a week's sailing involves shared quarters and morning routines. Living aboard a catamaran means something different. The twin hulls eliminate the roll of a traditional yacht, giving you stability whether anchored off a remote pebble beach or gently swinging in a busy harbor. The shallow draft lets you reach coves and shallow bays that monohulls cannot access, opening options for secluded swimming stops and small anchorages along the coast. The wide platforms between the hulls—and the open trampolines stretching forward—give your group genuine outdoor space. The saloon and cockpit flow together, making it easy to keep an eye on children or manage the group while someone handles the helm. From Rogoznica, a week's charter reaches the Pakleni Islands, Vis, Komiza, and the protected waters around Brac and Hvar. The dual-hull design handles the occasional stronger bora wind with composure, while the shallow corners of the Adriatic become genuinely accessible. For bareboat sailors looking to share time and cost across a larger party, El Paso 2 distributes the experience and the responsibility across four separate cabins and four fully equipped bathrooms.
