Bootscharter in Dodecanese · Excess 11 in Rhodes New Marina — “ALIA” — (2024)

Rhodes New Marina puts ALIA within reach of Greece's most sheltered anchorages and island-hopping routes. This 2024 Excess 11 catamaran carries ten guests across five cabins and two bathrooms, with the shallow draft that multi-hull design delivers—ideal for threading between smaller islands and holding position in the sandy bays where bigger boats cannot follow. Aboard, the twin hulls create a stable platform: minimal heeling at anchor, room to move without crowding, and the kind of steadiness that matters when cooking or sleeping at sea. The interior splits between two hulls, freeing up the central saloon as genuine living space rather than a corridor. Cabins are paired across the platform, and the bathroom access means no queuing in close quarters. Forward, the trampolines stretch between the bows, offering unobstructed views and a place to watch the water approach. The cockpit sits high and wide, built for sailing but equally suited to evening gatherings with a full group. For a week's cruise from Rhodes, the combination of shallow draft and stability opens the limestone anchorages of the southern Dodecanese—Panormitis, Marathounta, smaller corners of Kos and Kalymnos—without fuss. The catamaran's beam and cabin count make it practical for families or mixed groups who need genuine separation and comfort. Bareboat sailing here means autonomy in choosing when to move, where to anchor, and how long to stay.
