Bootscharter in Marmaris / Fethiye / Gocek · Excess 11 in Göcek Mucev Marina — “SMOTA” — (2022)

Göcek's sheltered bay and marble-lined anchorages demand a catamaran that can navigate shallow waters and hold steady in a breeze. SMOTA, an Excess 11 built in 2022, gives you both. Her twin hulls draw minimal draft—perfect for exploring the turquoise pockets and pine-backed beaches around the bay—while providing the stability that turns a drifting boat into a stable platform for anchoring, swimming, and gathering on deck. Living aboard, SMOTA arranges her 8 berths across 4 cabins, each with independent access and privacy. Two bathrooms with good headroom keep a group moving without schedules. The saloon sits at the heart of the boat, with windows framing the water on three sides. Forward, the trampolines span the bridge deck between the hulls, a generous sunbathing platform that catches the breeze. The foredeck works hard too—room to move around the mast, clear sight lines, and the kind of space that makes bareboat sailing feel less crowded when eight of you are aboard. From Göcek Mucev Marina, a week's cruising opens toward Fethiye, the Twelve Islands, Ölüdeniz, and the quieter anchorages south toward Ekincik. The catamaran's shallow draft lets you chase the hidden stops—small bays, remote beaches, village quays—that monohull charters must pass by. SMOTA's design gives you room to spread out and the freedom to go where the week takes you.
