Bootscharter in Italien · Dufour Catamaran 48 in Cecina / Porto di Cecina — “Amelie” — (2022)

From Cecina's welcoming Porto di Cecina, Amelie sits ready to unlock the Tuscan coast in a way that proves a catamaran was built for this. The 2022 Dufour 48 sleeps 11 guests across six cabins, each with its own shower room—no queuing, no compromise. Two hulls mean genuine stability when you drop anchor off a beach, and the shallow draft carries you into bays and shallows where monohulls cannot follow. That matters when you're discovering the Tuscan Archipelago, island to island, over seven days. Living aboard Amelie feels naturally spacious. The central saloon opens fully to the cockpit, a single flowing deck where you prepare meals and watch the horizon without separation. The trampoline netting stretched between the hulls becomes the social heart of longer days—a place for reading, sunbathing, or simply watching Corsica take shape across the water. The foredeck gives you room to move when handling sail or simply sitting quiet at the bow. Families and groups of friends appreciate what two hulls deliver: no heeling, no drama, just the motion of the sea beneath you. From Cecina, a week's sailing reaches Elba's anchorages, Portoferraio's working harbor, the granite cliffs beyond Piombino, or the smaller islands tucked between. Amelie is straightforward to sail bareboat, giving you the coast on your own terms.
