Bootscharter in Italien · Dufour Catamaran 48 in Sicily / Furnari / Marina Portorosa — “Eden Planet” — (2022)

Marina Portorosa sits at the northern tip of Sicily, a natural deep-water haven perfectly positioned for island-hopping through the Aeolians and island-to-island exploring along Sicily's rugged coast. Eden Planet, a 2022 Dufour Catamaran 48, gives you the platform to cruise this entire region without compromise. Built for groups and families, she sleeps 13 across six separate cabins, each with its own bathroom—a rare comfort on a 48-footer that means everyone travels with genuine privacy and dignity. Living aboard feels unusually spacious. The twin hulls create a wide central saloon that serves as a proper social heart, with a galley that lets you cook real meals rather than heat rations. Topside, continuous trampolines stretch between the bows, offering endless lounging real estate above the water. The twin-hull design isn't just about space; it's fundamental to how the boat performs. Two hulls mean flat-water stability at anchor, whether you're moored in crowded bays or at isolated beaches. That shallow draft—a catamaran's signature advantage—gets you into anchorages deep-hulled monohulls simply cannot reach, opening up small bays and protected waters as overnight destinations. From Marina Portorosa, a week's cruising ranges across some of the Mediterranean's most compelling anchorages: the Aeolian volcanic landscape, hidden coves along the Tyrrhenian coast, and remote beaches where few boats venture. The bareboat charter model gives you complete freedom to set the pace and itinerary, backed by professional support at your base whenever you need it.
