Bootscharter in Italien · Dufour Catamaran 48 in Sicily / Capo d'Orlando Marina — “Jovy” — (2021)

Jovy sits at Capo d'Orlando on Sicily's northern coast, ideally placed to reach the Aeolian Islands in hours and explore the Tyrrhenian Sea's quieter anchorages. At 14.7 metres, this 2021 Dufour 48 catamaran is built around two hulls that hold her steady at anchor without swing, absorb swell more kindly than a monohull, and draw shallow enough to nose into bays and beach anchorages where single-hulled boats cannot follow. Below decks, four cabins and four bathrooms distribute your group across the twin hulls. The saloon straddles both, creating an open living space with windows on three sides. The galley is properly equipped for a ship's cook. The cockpit wraps around the aft deck with full shade, and the trampoline netting between the hulls offers direct views to the water and clear space for morning coffee or evening stargazing. A week from Capo d'Orlando opens Lipari, Panarea and Stromboli to the north, the Aeolian chain's volcanic terraces and small harbours. South lie the Tyrrhenian coastline's fishing villages and sandy inlets. The crew handles navigation and seamanship while your group settles into a rhythm of sailing, swimming, and exploring on your own pace. Two hulls mean the boat rises and falls gently even when anchored in moderate swell, so sleep comes easily, and ten guests never feel squeezed.
