Bootscharter in Italien · Dufour 48 Cat in Sicily / Furnari / Marina Portorosa — “Frida” — (2022)

From Marina Portorosa, Furnari sits at the gateway to Sicily's best sailing—the rugged Aeolian Islands lie just across the water, and the Tyrrhenian coast reveals quiet anchorages and fishing villages that deeper-drafted boats simply cannot explore. Frida, a 2022 Dufour 48 Cat, gives you the shallow draft of just 1.25 meters to reach these hidden spots, while her twin hulls provide the steady platform and stability that make a week aboard genuinely comfortable, even when anchored in open waters. Living aboard Frida means real space for groups and families. Six separate cabins and six full bathrooms mean no one compromises on privacy or waits in queues. The saloon and cockpit flow naturally across the wide beam between the two hulls, creating room to gather or spread out. The double trampolines forward and the generous foredeck offer perfect places to relax, swim from, or simply watch the coast slip by. Each cabin is thoughtfully laid out—whether a full owner's suite, generous guest cabins, or cozy berths—so all 13 guests travel without feeling squeezed. The twin-hull design gives Frida her character: stability at anchor that feels like being moored to solid ground, shallow access to bays and beaches, and enough interior volume to live well for a week. Her dual Yammer engines and simple rigging make bareboat sailing straightforward, whether you motor through calm days or sail when the wind picks up. From Furnari, your charter opens toward some of the Mediterranean's most dramatic sailing, where space, stability, and comfort make the journey as memorable as the destination.
