Bootscharter in Italien · C-CAT 37 in Sardinia / Portisco / Marina di Portisco — “Altair” — (2023)

Sardinia's north coast rewards slow exploration, and from Marina di Portisco, Altair puts the Maddalena Islands, Costa Smeralda, and countless granite-backed anchorages within easy reach. This 2023 C-CAT 37 carries eight guests across shallow bays and onto open water with equal composure, thanks to the dual-hull design that keeps the boat steady at anchor and draws just enough draft to nose into beaches that monohulls cannot reach. Below deck, three cabins sleep up to eight, each with private access to one of two full bathrooms—a real advantage when groups and families want their own space without compromise. The saloon sits central to the hulls, naturally bright and ventilated, flowing seamlessly to the cockpit where you navigate and entertain. The wide trampolines lace between the bows, a sun-soaked perch that belongs only to catamarans; the foredeck offers genuine working room for anchoring and sail handling without the cramped footprint of a single-hulled boat. Two hulls mean you anchor in shallow Maddalena anchorages with confidence, drift slowly without the roll that unsettles some guests, and host eight people without anyone feeling squeezed. The beam and stability make Altair forgiving for sailors new to bareboat life, while her modern rigging and responsive helm satisfy those with experience. A week based here opens the entire northeast coast—sail hard one day, anchor in silence the next, with a platform solid enough to make both feel effortless.
