Bootscharter in Tyrrhenian Sea · Bali Catspace in Salerno — “Kuma” — (2022)

Moored in Salerno, Kuma sits ready to open the Amalfi Coast and its islands to bareboat explorers. This 2022 Bali Catspace gives ten guests genuine choice about how to cruise: tight quarters are nowhere to be found. The layout spreads across four separate cabins and four bathrooms, so families and groups maintain their privacy without sacrifice. Topside, the wide beam creates a saloon and cockpit that feel genuinely spacious, while the trampoline netting and foredeck give crew room to move and guests a place to gather forward. The twin hulls define how Kuma behaves at sea and at anchor. Shallow draft opens shallow bays and beaches where monohulls cannot go, letting you thread into village anchorages and find empty water near cliffs and coves. That same hull form keeps the boat stable when you drop hook, with minimal rocking in the swells that roll through the Mediterranean. The hulls also absorb motion—a real comfort for guests who find narrow keels unsettling. Add the predictable propulsion when the wind drops, and bareboat sailing becomes a genuine pleasure rather than a trial. From Salerno, a week's cruising reaches toward Capri, Positano, and the islands dotting the Tyrrhenian coast. The catamaran's fuel and water capacity support longer passages and unhurried exploration. Whether you motor softly into a quiet anchorage or sail with a responsive rig, Kuma carries the experience calmly and with visible space all around.
