Bootscharter in Kroatien · Bali Catspace in Kaštel Gomilica / Marina Kaštela — “MAYA BAY 4” — (2023)

Sailing from Marina Kaštela puts you within hours of the Dalmatian islands and countless hidden bays that define Croatia's Adriatic character. MAYA BAY 4, a Bali Catspace built in 2023, gives you a platform designed specifically for this kind of cruising—a 12.31-meter catamaran that absorbs the geography of shallow anchorages and tight island channels where monohulls cannot follow. A catamaran's twin hulls deliver genuine advantages here. The wider platform keeps you stable at anchor in open water, crucial when waiting out wind in an exposed bay. The shallow draft of just 1.1 meters lets you nose into beach anchorages and smaller harbors that reward exploration. Below deck, four cabins and four bathrooms serve ten guests with genuine private space—parents and children can retreat to their own berths without crowding the saloon. The galley sits efficiently amidships, and the saloon offers shelter for meals or games during a blow. Above, the cockpit and trampolines give you room to spread out, to sunbathe, to watch the coast unfold without feeling cramped. Bareboat sailing in this region favors accessible confidence over extreme technical demand. MAYA BAY 4 responds to straightforward seamanship, whether you're anchoring in a favorite cove, powering through a flat afternoon, or sailing downwind toward the next island. A week's cruising from Kaštela can reach dozens of anchorages, each revealing a different character of coast.
