Bootscharter in Italien · Bali 5.4 in Sardinia / Olbia / Marina di Olbia — “North Star” — (2021)

North Star sits on the doorstep of Sardinia's most sought-after cruising grounds. From Marina di Olbia, you're minutes from the Costa Smeralda's granite cliffs and turquoise bays, and the Maddalena Archipelago's anchorages spread across your chart within easy reach. A week's itinerary might take you to Corsica's quiet coves or into the protected waters where families anchor in shallow depths no monohull can access. Living aboard this 2021 Bali 5.4 means five cabins and seven bathrooms distributed across 16.8 meters, so the 12 guests aboard never feel crowded. The two hulls create a wide, stable platform where the saloon and cockpit work as natural gathering spaces, while the connecting trampolines between the bows and the open foredeck give you real outdoor living. The cabin layouts maximize privacy and comfort; the bathroom provision means no queuing. Motion is notably gentle here, even at anchor in a swell, because the catamaran's beam and dual-hull design absorb rather than amplify the sea's rhythm. With a professional crew handling navigation, provisioning and meals, the boat becomes a floating base for exploration rather than a sailing challenge. The shallow draft opens anchorages that deep-keeled boats cannot reach, and the twin engines offer reliable power when you're positioning between destinations. Whether your group is mixed ages, friends on a milestone trip, or extended family, North Star's layout lets everyone find their own rhythm onboard.
