Bootscharter in Griechenland · Bali 4.2 in Volos / Port of Volos — “Silver IX” — (2023)

Volos puts you moments from the Sporades Islands—Skiathos, Skopelos, and Alonissos all lie within a day's sail—making this northern Greek port an ideal launchpad for island-hopping and coastal exploration. Silver IX, a 2023 Bali 4.2, sits ready to take you there with space and stability that monohulls simply cannot match. The two hulls do the work here. They hold Silver IX steady at anchor in any weather, which means you sleep well in open bays rather than motoring between crowded harbors. The shallow draft lets you slip into beaches and narrow inlets where others cannot go, opening up swimming stops and snorkeling ground that few visitors reach. Below deck, four cabins sleep ten guests, each with its own bathroom. The layout spreads people across the twin hulls, reducing the sense of crowding and giving families or friend groups genuine privacy. Topside, the wide platform between the hulls becomes your outdoor living room—trampoline areas for sunbathing, an expansive foredeck for forward views, a cockpit that shades multiple people, and a sociable saloon-galley where everyone naturally gathers. A bareboat charter from Volos offers freedom. You set your own pace along the Pelion coast, linger in villages that appeal to you, and anchor in turquoise water without the formality of boatyards and ports. The Bali 4.2 handles responsively, asking less muscle and concentration than comparable monohulls, so whether your crew has sailed before or not, the week feels manageable and genuinely fun.
