Bootscharter in Italien · Bali 4.1 in Piombino / Marina Arcipelago Toscano — “Zeta” — (2019)

From Piombino's Marina Arcipelago Toscano, Zeta puts eight people within reach of Tuscany's scattered islands—Elba's granite shores, Giglio's fishing coves, and the wild beaches of Pianosa. A 2019 Bali 4.1, this catamaran's pair of hulls sit shallow enough to tuck into bays where monohulls cannot follow, and stable enough that anchoring in open water feels secure, not tentative. Living aboard works well for groups. Four cabins mean families can spread out; four bathrooms mean no morning queues. The saloon sits open to the cockpit, so you're never sealed away from wind and sea. The trampolines between the hulls catch afternoon light while you read. The foredeck gives you space to move around the sails without crowding. That twin-hull beam—the width between the two hulls—transforms the interior from cramped galley to genuine workspace, and the cockpit becomes a place to linger, not endure. Bareboat freedom here means independence on your own terms. You sail when tides and weather suit you, anchor where the water clears to white sand, and eat dinner looking at the same view you saw from the helm that morning. Zeta's shallow draught opens access to the Tuscan Archipelago that deeper-drafted boats simply cannot reach. A week based here lets you move slowly enough to notice the detail: the color of the water, the taste of local wine, the rhythm of sailing between islands.
