Based in Baltra at the centre of the Galápagos, Monique cabin 8 is a 42-metre power catamaran built to keep your group comfortable while exploring Ecuador's most remote islands. With nine cabins sleeping 18 guests and eleven bathrooms, the layout works equally well for a family reunion or a mixed party of friends. Each cabin is private and self-contained, providing quiet rest after full days in the field.

The dual-hull design is built for these waters. Two hulls mean exceptional stability at anchor—important when you're observing wildlife from a steady platform—and shallow draft to nose into bays and reach beaches other vessels cannot access. Above deck, the trampolines and foredeck offer unobstructed sightlines for photography and wildlife watching, while the spacious saloon and cockpit accommodate the whole group for meals, briefings and evening discussion. The catamaran's efficient twin-engine propulsion handles varying sea conditions reliably, so your itinerary stays on track.

From Baltra, a week's charter reaches the northern islands and the southern reaches of the archipelago. You navigate to landing sites where giant tortoises graze, volcanic landscapes reward hiking, and snorkelling brings you eye to eye with sea lions. The catamaran's shallow draft opens anchorages in protected bays that larger monohull vessels cannot reach, expanding your options for encounters and exploration across the islands.
