Sestante leaves from Marina Portorosa in Furnari, on the north coast of Sicily, where the Aeolian islands sit on the horizon and the water stays clear enough to read the anchor chain. This 2024 Lagoon 46 sleeps twelve across four cabins, each with its own en-suite bathroom, so every couple or pair of friends has real privacy without a shared corridor queue in the morning. The owner's cabin is set aft, the others are forward and in the hulls, and the saloon and galley sit on the main level, where the table seats the whole group for breakfast and evening meals.

Life on board moves outdoors. The cockpit is wide and shaded, with a central table and seating that suits lunch under way or a drink as the sun drops. The twin trampolines between the hulls and the broad foredeck give guests a place to lie back, watch the water and spot fish, and they are where most people end up spending the afternoon. Two hulls are the reason this works. A catamaran stays level at anchor, so the saloon does not heel and sleep is easier after a long day. Its shallow draft lets you slip into bays and onto beaches that deeper monohulls cannot reach, and the width gives a large group or a family room to spread out.
